On July 29th, I set out to watch trains in Marion, Ohio. On my way up to the station, I stopped at Troyton along Norfolk Southern's Sandusky District and noticed a clear signal indicating an eastbound (compass south). I stuck around to see the train and it turned out to be 304. After 304 cleared the single track, NS 116 was able to head west. After those two trains I proceeded up to Marion and decided to shoot CSX Q106's power, which was a pair of Kansas City Southern Locomotives sitting along the Mt. Victory Subdivision. Before I had a chance to shoot that, C799 was making its way onto the mainline after working in the Marion Industrial Terminal. When I arrived at the Marion Union Station, CSX Q292 already had a limited clear signal and soon passed by. After that, NS was able to cut lose, running 185, 19M, and 234. Very soon after those trains ran CSX ran Q634 west. Then, the Mt. Victory Sub was able to run another train, Q259. That's all I was able to record before my camera's battery died.
